ABOUT ME

I’m a London-based portrait photographer.

Most of the men I work with haven’t done anything like this before. They’re not used to being in front of a camera, and they’re definitely not trying to perform or turn into someone else for the sake of a photo. Usually, they just want something that feels real. Something that actually looks like them.

That’s what I try to create space for.

The sessions are calm and fairly simple. We talk things through, figure out what feels right, and then go from there. There’s no pressure to “get it right.” No expectation to know what you’re doing. (That’s kind of the point.)

I’ll guide when it’s helpful, but a lot of it is just slowing things down and paying attention to what feels natural in the moment.

I’m a trans woman, and that does shape how I work.

I know what it can feel like to be looked at too closely, or not quite understood.
So I keep things straightforward, respectful, and at your pace. Nothing is forced, and nothing is taken further than you want it to go.

Sessions usually take place in your space, or somewhere you feel comfortable.
That tends to make a big difference. It takes away the sense of performance, and things settle quite quickly after that.

Everything is built around you, your comfort, your boundaries, and what you actually want from it.

Nothing is shared unless you explicitly say so. For most people, it stays completely private
