About The Portrait Vault

Most people don't come to me because they love having their photograph taken. They come because they want to see themselves differently.

Maybe it's about confidence. Maybe it's about celebrating a milestone, exploring another side of yourself, or simply creating images that feel honest. Whatever brings you here, you're welcome.

The Portrait Vault wasn't created just to take photographs. It was created to offer an experience.

One where you can slow down, feel comfortable, and leave behind the pressure of trying to look or be a certain way. The best photographs happen when you're no longer thinking about the camera.

I'm a London-based portrait photographer and a fully post-operative trans woman. My own journey has taught me how personal it can feel to be truly seen, and that's shaped the way I work. I understand that stepping in front of a camera can feel exciting, vulnerable, and sometimes a little daunting. That's why creating trust always comes first.

I don't work from a studio. Instead, we create the experience in your home or another location we choose together. Familiar surroundings help people relax, and that's often when the most authentic moments appear. You don't need modelling experience, and there's no expectation to know what to do. I'll guide you when it's helpful, but there is never any pressure to perform.

Every session is different because every person is different. Some clients want quiet, thoughtful portraits. Others want to explore confidence, sensuality or a side of themselves they've never expressed before. Whatever your reason for booking, we create the experience together, at your pace and within your boundaries.

The name The Portrait Vault was chosen for a reason. A vault is a place where valuable things are kept safe. For many of my clients, these photographs are deeply personal. Some choose to share them proudly, while others keep them entirely private. Either way, nothing is ever shared without your explicit permission.

If you've been thinking about doing something like this but have been waiting until you felt more confident or "camera ready", you don't have to wait.

Most people arrive feeling a little nervous. Most leave wondering why they didn't do it sooner.
